Huntingdon Valley Gets Past Southampton in 1st Scrimmage of Season

Huntingdon Valley (HV) started off its 2010 baseball season with a scrimmage against Southampton (SH). HV looked in mid season form as it hit, pitched and fielded to a victory on a beautiful Sunday Evening. HV received great pitching from John Martindale (2 IP, 5 K's), Bryce Horn (1 IP, 3 K's), Jacob Taylor (1 IP 0 runs), Victor Tang (1 IP, 3 K's), Matt Acker (1 IP) and Brock Landes (1/3 IP). HV's bats where on fire all day as it continued to show that all the off season work is paying off. HV was lead by Horn's (1 for 2, 6 Rbi's) Grand slam, Acker (2 for 2, 3 runs), Jordan Leiber (2 for 2, 2 runs, 2 RBIs, 2 runs Scored)
